We collect, use and store your personal data exclusively within the framework of the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act of the Federal Republic of Germany. Below we will inform you about the type, scope and purpose of data collection and use.

For the sake of simplicity, the user/visitor to the websites and/or customer is hereinafter referred to as the “User”.

Introduction

Data protection and privacy are important to us. Our websites therefore do not transmit any personal data to social media, and the use of cookies is limited to the absolutely necessary minimum (e.g. for language settings or in web shops).

Collection and processing of data

Every access to our website and every retrieval of a file stored on it is logged. The storage serves internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following are logged: name of the retrieved file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, web browser and requesting domain. Additionally, the IP addresses of the requesting computers are logged.

Further personal data is only collected if the user voluntarily provides information, for example as part of an inquiry or registration, to conclude a contract or via the settings of their browser.

Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a text file that is sent when you visit a website and is temporarily stored on the user's hard drive. If the corresponding server of our website is accessed again by the user, their browser sends the previously received cookie back to the server. The server can then evaluate the information obtained through this procedure in various ways. Cookies can, for example, B. advertising can be controlled or navigation on a website can be made easier. Our websites do not transmit any personal data to integrated social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.). In particular, we do not use integrated Google fonts or direct social media buttons (we create the latter using the GDPR-compliant Shariff plugin).

Collection and processing of data by ParaFlightBook

The desktop program ParaFlightBook logs on to the website regularly for license checks, updates and reloading of user data (airspace, maps, etc.). In particular, it is logged for which device (ID) and which IP address contact is made with which account. This data is regularly evaluated by machine in order to detect possible misuse of a paid account by several people or on an inappropriate number of devices.

Use and Disclosure of Personal Information

If the user has provided personal data to our website, we only use it to answer their inquiries, to process contracts concluded with them and for technical administration. We will only pass on or otherwise transmit personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or billing purposes, or if the website visitor has previously consented. The user has the right to revoke any consent given at any time with future effect.

The stored personal data will be deleted if the user revokes their consent to storage, if their knowledge is no longer necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were stored or if their storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons. Data for billing and accounting purposes will not be affected by a request for deletion.

Right of providing information

Upon written request, we will inform the user about the personal data stored about them. The request should be sent to our address given in the imprint of the website.
